Before Your Session

Plan ahead. I can't stress this enough. Make sure you have given yourself time to think about all of the details of your session. Plan ahead so #1, you can think about your vision and everything you want out of your session, #2 you are not stressing out the day of your session with last minute details, #3 if you decide to change up your look or want to add a few more details, you still have time to make those last minute changes before your session.

Selecting your locations

Your senior photos should feel like you—your style, your vibe, your story. One of the best ways to make that happen is by choosing the right location. Not sure where to start? Here are my top tips:1. Think about your personality. Are you a nature lover? Parks, fields, or lakes give you that dreamy outdoor  vibe feel. Downtown streets, murals, or coffee shops bring out an urban, trendy feel. Sports/activities? Stadiums, tracks, or fields can showcase your passions.2. Choose meaningful places...your session is about celebrating you. A favorite hangout spot, your high school campus, or even your own backyard can make the photos extra special.3. Mix it up or can’t decide? Pick two locations! We can start with something classic (like a natural setting) and then move to something bold (like a city backdrop) for variety in your gallery.4. Consider the season & outfits for Fall leaves, spring blooms, or golden summer sunsets all set a different mood. Think about the time of year—and what you’re wearing—when choosing your spot.5. Don’t Stress—I can help! Not sure what works best? That’s what I’m here for! I’ll guide you to locations that photograph beautifully and match your style.

outfit selections

There is no restriction on the number of outfits you can bring to your session. Bring other outfits, even adding another layer such as a jacket, coat, scarves or hats can really change up your look and bring more variety to your gallery.
